I met Terra about a year ago. That was the first time she was my nurse. Terra is an outstanding nurse. She genuinely cares and goes out of her way to help make you comfortable.
A year ago, when I was hospitalized for the extreme pain I was experiencing, Terra went out of her way to help get me as comfortable as possible. When the doctor came in, she stayed with me and helped me to understand all the doctor explained. I have never had a nurse, or anyone for that matter, go out of their way to help me to understand everything (testing results) and the questions I had wanted to ask the doctor.
When I woke up to Terra introducing herself to me this morning I knew I could relax and knew that all was going to be okay. I also expressed to her that I really wish she would become a PA or doctor as I would definitely be her patient. I want to thank Terra for all she does to make her patients feel special and comfortable. She helps us to get through this stressful time at the hospital and gives us knowledge of things that are taking place. Terra is the kindest and most compassionate person I have ever met. She is such an asset for Regional Health.
