Amy Willson exemplifies the mission and vision of Cerner. I've worked with Amy for the past 2 and half years and have found her to be a focused, knowledgeable and collaborative colleague. I was absorbed by Siemens and the first time I saw Amy present I thought 'Wow!'. As a demonstration consultant, she was always compelling by being prepared, knowledgeable and humorous. She was a great presenter.
She has now moved on to a leadership role in the Sales Alignment Organization and although I miss her presentations to clients I see that she's as effective and passionate than ever. Amy nurturers, coaches and trains her presenters, making sure they stay on message and relays all communications. She's a cheerleader and mentor to her group and whether the presentation was great or good, she's there to make sure her presenters are recognized, coached and commended.
She is a nurse who still describes a hospital inpatient environment as 'the house'. Her sensibilities are spot on and I'm sure the hospital sorely misses her. Cerner is so very lucky to have her.
She seems to take on any Cerner project with ease, although we all know these jobs are not easy.
Amy cheers for others, as she's a very giving person who has given and continues to give her heart and soul to Cerner. Three cheers for Amy!
