Eric Ringle is a Senior Strategist for Soarian ED. However, his commitment to the success of Cerner and our clients extends beyond his responsibilities of Soarian ED. His clinical expertise and knowledge of our solution, clients, and the workflows make him an excellent resource for many groups.
For Soarian ED, Eric works closely with all members of our team. He is key to aligning priorities and deliverables for our group. Many would agree that he is a trusted resource for solution designers, solution architects, solution engineers, testers, user experience, etc. He consistently provides detailed information on upcoming capabilities to give the team a good starting point for estimates, design, and analysis. He takes the time to sit with the groups to flush out details and even user experience workflows. In addition to new capabilities, Eric provides support for existing features as well. His extensive knowledge of the ED domain, our solution, and our current client base helps prioritize issues and determine the appropriate resolutions. Other strategists also rely on and seek his assistance in areas such as clinical and roadmap decisions. He is always looking to improve our solutions and areas of opportunities for Cerner. Recently, he has been analyzing as well as validating with a client, the ability to utilize Soarian ED for inpatient care.
Eric is well connected and respected among our client base. In addition to communicating with clients via Illuminations, he keeps clients well informed via ED community calls. He has been involved in many pre-live readiness checkouts for clients and closed communication gaps between clients and the account team stakeholders. He has visited many client sites for various reasons such as: reviewing client roadmaps, validation sessions, implementation assistance, and system optimization. It is not uncommon for clients (ranging from IT support resources to hospital executives) or account executives to request the assistance of Eric when issues arise. They trust that he will either resolve their issues or get it to the right people for resolution.
In addition, Eric is an active member of the American Nurses Informatics Association (ANIA) and Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). He was appointed to the ENA Institute for Quality, Safety, Injury Prevention Advisory Council and has presented at the state and national levels for ENA.
It is clear that Eric surpasses expectations as a strategist for Soarian ED but in addition, his commitment to our clients, healthcare informatics, and patient care are reasons why Eric is a DAISY Nurse.
