I am an RN myself, as well as my sister and mother, who were both with me during my stay. To say we have high standards is an understatement. Jodi embodies all of the attributes the DAISY Award stands for and the most needed for me was a patient advocate.
I was in Jodi's care post-op and had been "weaned" off my PCA before being adequately medicated with oral medications. I was in tears due to my pain and she did everything to get my pain controlled at 3:00 in the morning! She did this for me, as my advocate. Jodi is truly an extraordinary nurse.
