My wife had a 43-hour labor! During the last 12 hours Sam was with us and she was an amazing nurse. She was very patient in helping my wife with her pre-labor, and then going above and beyond by helping during the labor. She helped me coach my wife and even held her leg up. About 1 hour prior to birth, my wife wanted to give up and have a C-section. Sam was there to keep my wife's spirits high and to keep her motivated. Sam asked, "can you give me one more hour?". My wife agreed and less than hour later we had a vaginal birth as planned. Sam was such an amazing advocate for my wife and just an absolute professional. Without her our 43-hour labor would have been a nightmare, thank you Sam!
