Myra was the first nurse we encountered. She was pleasant and always had a smile! Whenever she entered his room she addressed both of us, always asked if my husband was comfortable, made sure we understood what medications he was receiving and answered our questions, patiently. She managed his pain well and if she said she would be back "in five minutes" with something for pain, she was back in five minutes! She brought a warm blanket into the room for me, just because she said I looked cold. I didn't ask her for it, but she was right, I was cold. After being his nurse in the evenings for two nights, she came to our room and told us she would probably not see us before discharge because she had the next four days off and she wished us well. I'm so glad she did because it gave me the opportunity to tell her how much we appreciated her. She is a wonderful nurse, thank you, Myra!
