"Everyone here has been amazing since we got here. Christin took care of me when I first got here. She even stayed past her shift to continue to watch over us. She even got a sitter for her child, which was amazing in terms of her dedication and nursing care. That was just so way above and beyond anything she had to do. We felt so blessed by her in so many ways. She even called the funeral home to ask them to pick up the baby. I just couldn't do it and couldn't recognize trying to leave my baby here with just any funeral home coming to pick her up. It has been very hard, of course. We knew this was coming but it doesn't make it any easier, but it does make it better knowing that people care about us personally and that this baby is special to someone - not just us.
