Celeste is a true asset to Fox Chase and an inspiration. Her compassion and caring for patients and their families is boundless. A true person and excellent health care professional.
***
During the evening and feeling so deathly sick, Celeste treated me with extraordinary compassion and care as though I was a member of her family. She was my angel in disguise to get me through the night.
***
Celeste has been a Fox Chase employee for 26 years. I believe she is a great team worker and a great patient advocate. Celeste takes pride in the work she does. I have witnessed her compassion, and the extra time she takes to explain the plan of care to her patients. She makes them feel safe and secure. She is on many committees of core value in patient safety. She communicates with physician and families on patient progress and makes sure all their needs are met. She is compassionate about her work and loves taking care of patients. She helps her coworkers and makes sure she gets a report for the whole floor. She cares for all the patients and makes herself available to all the staff and patients. She is always happy and kind to everyone.
I have never seen Celeste overwhelmed or frustrated. She is always respectful and provides positive feedback to all. I can truly say she loves her work. I have seen Celeste praying with the staff when in need and with her patients and families. Celeste brings her guitar and sings to patients that are not doing well. She stays past her shift to make sure she doesn't leave any work behind. Celeste cares, comforts and heals. I am thankful that I get to witness the compassion she has toward her patients and I am proud to call her a friend. We are glad she is part of Fox Chase and so are her patients.
