Jenna is an extraordinary nurse who makes a difference in every patients' life. She takes the time to make each and every one of them feel as important as the next. Patients and their families clearly appreciate the time and effort she puts into every aspect of their care. No matter what she is presented throughout her workday, she remains calm and focused.
Jenna is very involved on our floor and has all the strengths of an excellent leader. She co-chairs our unit council and has helped bring about new and exciting changes to our floor. Most recently she has put together a new unit policy regarding holiday scheduling. A lot of work and effort went into researching what would work best for our unit. Everyone has a different idea of what is fair, and Jenna wanted to make sure the new policy was as fair as possible for everyone involved. 2West is a floor with near 60 employees. This was not an easy task to undertake. Her hard work and perseverance have paid off and we now have a policy that all the staff can refer to if they have any questions.
This is only one of the many ways Jenna contributes to our floor. Patients appreciate her compassion and honesty, and the staff are grateful for all that she does to help our floor run smoothly.
