Angie always makes sure the patient is taken care of. Today, she talked to 3 different providers about her patient, one of those providers being at UK, to make sure both she and her patient understood the next step in her care. Angie was very concerned about her patient and the patient's baby when the providers had a few different opinions. Angie made sure her patient was as calm as possible as she waited for the final decision from the OB on call. Angie also stayed by the patient's side to make sure the doctor at UK could get a good NST strip on the patient. Angie was calm, positive, and I am always glad to get to work side by side with her. I am happy to be on a team with her. She is a fabulous nurse. This patient is a first-time mom at 37-years-old, and she wanted everything to be a great experience while here in our care.
