I nominated this amazing nurse for the exceptional care he provided my husband after surgery. Harrie was exceptional in providing education and assistance to my husband following back surgery. He took the time to listen to my husband's stories of his time in the service and never made him feel as if he was a burden.
My husband served 26 years in the army and was in combat many times. He suffers from PTSD and can be quite a handful at times. Harrie took extra time to talk with him about the many places he was stationed and the many times he was in combat. Harrie kept me updated throughout the night. To make this even more of a challenge with family present, I am also his manager.
