My brother called me concerning the failing condition of my father. I contacted my son-in-law, a doctor, for advice. He is not only a great family member but also someone that I greatly appreciate and respect as a medical professional. Knowing that we were making end of life decisions, he suggested we transport dad to your facility. After arrival, we told Dad, who was still very coherent, that he had a choice to go on to Springfield or remain in Aurora. He knew that he was dying and didn't want extended measures taken. We remained at your facility for two days, at which time he peaceful passed. The experience we had there could not have been better. All of the staff was great. We couldn't have asked for better care. Everyone did a great job, but I want to give special thanks to Beth Brown. She is very professional and went above and beyond my expectations. In this day and time of people who are quick to point out the negatives, thank you for a job well done. On behalf of our family, thanks for doing it right.
