Through the eyes of a grown son, Jason Yacks took extraordinary care of a dying patient as he was 'crossing over' (per the family's words) in the last few days of his struggle. He was compassionate, caring and attentive yet helped the family keep a sense of humor. The nurse also shared personal stories. The family came to present the DAISY Award which was a surprise to the Jason.
