I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic ovarian/peritoneal cancer and have been in treatment for about the last six and a half years. Anna Bernardo has been my nurse all during this time. I am in for visits, labs, and chemotherapy treatments often. Anna has always, always made these visits easier by her selflessness and smiling face. She is one of the most extraordinarily kind people I have ever known. She treats me with gentleness and very good humor. I find myself smiling all the time when I am in her care, even when I am not feeling well. If I have questions or concerns between visits, I can call her and she will always get back to me that same day and do her best to help with my issues. I have noticed her kindness extended to all the patients she has been working with when I am there, and I feel she is a genuinely good person as well as an exceptional nurse.
