During my stay here, pretty much everyone on 6 North for Doctors, Nurses and Aids did a fantastic job and all were very professional and pleasant. However, Emily by all means stood above the rest. She listened intently to my problems and worked very hard in resolving any issues and explaining and researching answers to my questions. She always "checked in" to see how I was doing and always had a smile on her face. She demonstrated TRUE care not only for me as a patient, but also for the care that REAL nursing requires as a job. Like I said, everyone was very good on 6 North at all positions and to still have someone like Emily stand out among the rest is really a feat that should be recognized and rewarded. I'm nominating Emily for this "DAISY" award because I feel she has truly earned it. I am very grateful for her service while I was here as I do also for the rest of the team on 6 North. Thank you everyone on 6North, but a huge thank-you to Emily.
