Kori Peterson was taking a bike ride on a Sunday with her son and came across a man having a heart attack. Kori did active CPR until an ambulance could arrive to take over. This gentleman got to the ED/hospitalization and the following day, Dr.B voiced how very impressed he was with Kori's performance and encouraged her heroism recognition, along with the City of Sioux Falls recognizing Kori's effort. This gentleman is a City of Sioux Falls employee. Due to this successful CPR this man has a great prognosis.

I am forever thankful to God; Kori Petersen; City of Sioux Falls Fire Rescue Team and Police Department; all of the wonderful doctors, nurses and other Sanford Health staff members; and my family members and friends who worked and prayed together to save my life. Everything and everyone had to come together almost perfectly for me to still be alive. God brought together a team of his very best people to perform this miracle and I am eternally grateful to you all.
