...My wife was brought up to 9th floor after being diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. This was complicated even further by the finding of two tumors located in her head. Shannon Kerr has been here every single day for 25 days. While she was on duty or not, Shannon is always on duty for anyone in need. I was devastated by what has been going on, but Shannon helped me to stay strong, and if I had any question at all, she would find an answer. She has even offered to take my wife's laundry home with her to do on her own time. She has bought head wraps for my wife because of the loss of her hair. She went to the cafeteria and bought a meal for me because she was worried I was not eating. My wife and I were here alone but found an angel, friend, and a great nurse in Shannon.
