Diann is a Registered Nurse on Obstetrics at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital. She was nominated for the DAISY Award by three patients and family members as follows:

1)Diann clearly loves her job. She is attentive to new moms and babies. She provided excellent nursing care in conjunction with practical "mom" advice. She is one of the best nurses to ever have taken care of me. She took lots of time to learn my medical needs and never appeared to be in a hurry. She even took time to get to know my family, especially my other children. She is a caring professional. She also gave me very good advice about my pain control meds and regarding some feeding troubles my new son was having. Just love her!

2)Diann took great care, help, and understanding during our stay. She made the transition to parenthood smoother than I ever expected. She went out of her way to not only help the baby but to connect with the entire family. She is definitely an asset to Bloomington Hospital and others would be very lucky to have her as their nurse.

3)Willingness to answer questions. Interest in family not just baby. Kindness. Compassion.
