A recent patient's husband was so impressed with Mellissa's willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to show her compassion while his wife was in the ICU.

I was visiting my wife and I left to go home at 7:15 p.m. I left through the main doors and fell on the ice, breaking four ribs. I must have had my keys in my hand and dropped them when I fell. After I got out of the Emergency room I went back to my wife's room to get my coat and keys. That is when I found that I didn't have them. Mellissa insisted that she go down to find them after security reported that no keys were turned in. Mellissa found my keys and then drove my car to the front canopy. I think she saw how much pain I was in. She took initiative and was most helpful. I cannot thank her enough.
