I was already nervous and a little upset about being in her department, when I met Deborah. From the first minute we met she could tell how I was feeling and right away she began talking to me. She explained all the details of my upcoming surgery. She also noticed an issue with the skin on my hands and feet. She asked permission to assist me in finding a doctor that could help me. Before I left her department she had called two physicians and assured me she would make sure I received help. Deborah not only made me feel important as her patient, she made me feel important as a person. She focused on her job and finished my preoperative visit and then went above and beyond to get me the help I needed. Thank you Deborah Schaefer! I won't forget your kindness.
