I first met William Brian Price on 10-13-2014 when I became a patient at the Wound Care Center. Scared to death of not knowing what to expect or what would happen to my life on/after this visit, William embraced me and my family. He went above and beyond to explain to me the plan of care ahead of me. He made me feel better about my situation! I felt as though I had a Big Brother who would take care of me and my situation. He made sure I understood and all of my needs were met. After following the regimen set forth, long and tedious, I got frustrated. On my visit in February, I cried while talking with William about the concerns I had. My wound seemed to have stalled. He went to the physician on my behalf and they together made changes and now I can tell you I'm 80 percent healed in a month and a half.

William made an exemplary difference in my life. My family thinks he's the best nurse ever and I definitely know he is. I'm forever grateful for him. Beside the DAISY Award should be William Price's picture. This I say because as an Employee I see him not only take care of me this way but every one he comes in contact with - patients, family, or fellow employees. There are more patients that trust his judgment as a nurse when it comes to their health and situation. He's just awesome all the way around! He walks through the office and waiting area singing and greeting everyone making people feel better and welcome. Dr. B even stated he has him singing and he normally only sings at church. His greatness is contagious. I love how it affects others!
