I had been struggling with a home medical supply service in order to get much-needed oxygen for an upcoming trip. Debbie did all of the right things over six weeks ago to make this happen but the medical supply service failed to follow up. After repeated attempts to get the medical supply service to do their job, I was still left hanging. Debbie spent a good part of her day trying to make things right with multiple phone calls, re-faxing records, calling me multiple times to keep me up to date, and documenting all of the interactions. Debbie had been assured that I would hear from this home medical supply by the end of the day. A few days later, I realized that I had not heard from the company so I called. I was told repeatedly by many different people from this company, over a period of 45 minutes, that the required documentation was not there, the recent testing was inconclusive, they hadn't received the forms that Debbie had sent, etc. I was frustrated to the point of tears and raising my voice to the poor girl on the phone who was responsible for none of this, to whom I did apologize. I reached out to Debbie and I finally got a phone call from the company that I would have my much-needed oxygen for my upcoming trip. Debbie followed up with a phone call to me, explaining (with a happy attitude!) that she had spent most of the day on the phone and re-faxing records that had already been sent TWICE to ensure that I had adequate oxygen for my upcoming trip. I am so appreciative of the effort that she made on my behalf. She deserves this recognition!
