My husband was frightened and had difficulty speaking for himself. He also has sight issues and eye pain when he was transferred to this unit. Ellie introduced herself and stated, "My name is Ellie and we are all here to take good care of you and make sure that you are comfortable." Ellie was compassionate and informative. She showed compassion by comforting my husband with kind words and made sure to care for all his health situations and needs.
Ellie is a great nurse leader. She inspires others to work together toward the Veterans' best care. Her work ethic goes above and beyond by doing her professional work in a respectful, caring and timely manner.
