Ms. Jen is the best manager I have ever worked with. Knowledgeable about nursing, she is also an excellent leader who speaks to her staff, patients, and families with respect and kindness. As a new nurse, she has been very supportive of growth plans for my nursing career to be a very good preceptor and charge nurse in the future. She always lends an extra helping hand to her nurses when it gets especially busy, always finding time to step in to take care of patients and families or help in any way she can until everything is settled. One example is how she frequently takes the time to bring patients' dirty trays out to the dirty room.
Ms. Jen never lets her staff down and sees to it that she listens to all of our concerns in order to find a solution to any issues that we encounter in our unit. I admire her and she inspires me every day to be a better nurse and an excellent leader. I believe that a true, hardworking leader deserves to be praised and acknowledged.
