I was admitted as an outpatient to St. Joseph's Hospital for a Hemorrhoidectomy.My nurse was Lisa. She was very attentive, understanding, and compassionate and everything was about making my stay as pleasant as possible. She was concerned for me and my wife. She was constantly checking on me and my needs when I was in the room. While I was in surgery she was very helpful to make sure my wife had what she needed. It was very reassuring to have a nurse like this and she comes highly recommended by me. Her demeanor put me at ease and it helped to calm me down.
After I came back to the room from surgery, she never pushed like I had to be in a hurry to leave. She continued to be attentive and helpful and answered all my questions until it was time to go. She made sure I understood my after surgery home care and any possible complications and how to handle them.
When we left she walked us out to the lobby and wished us well.
We really appreciate her and the care she gave.
