I would like to say, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" To Matthew, RN on 4D - Neurology. He was the nurse caring for my brother-in-law when he was having a stroke in December. Matthew was attentive to his symptoms, and he communicated his concerns to the doctor when my brother-in-law's abilities started to deteriorate. He educated us about what was going on as well as what to expect in Rehab. He was always quick with a joke and a smile which was exactly what was needed at the time.

On the day my husband was going to have a biopsy, Matthew reassured us that he would take care of him while we were gone and contact us if there were any further problems. It put our minds at ease to know that Matthew would be there to care for him while we were not available.
Even though he was busy spent the time to make us feel important and cared for.
