I would like to compliment Jill on her great job putting together the video. This brought the team together and was an opportunity to show what a great team we have. I have received many compliments and praise from many departments on how it brought joy to them.

Jill always comes to work with a smile on her face. She has a beautiful energy that she brings to all her interactions with her patients and her co-workers. She goes out of her way to help her co-workers no matter how busy she is. She continually shines her bright light throughout the department raising the morale and making people laugh. She embodies love and compassion and lives out the definition of what it means to be a nurse.

Jill has a servant heart and a kind soul. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jill saw a need to boost morale and spirit of the staff in the emergency department. Jill organized staff to meet on their day off and do a dance that she sent out to staff to learn prior. Jill then came in on her days off to get clips of other ED and ancillary department staff so everyone would feel involved and included. The dance and the video had such a positive outcome for not just the ED staff but staff throughout the hospital. Our hospital president even mentioned how he was jealous he wasn't involved. Jill's efforts increased staff morale and the presence of teamwork in not just the ED but with ancillary departments that support the ED. It was a bright "smile" in a time of stress and uncertainty. Jill's positive attitude and smile always make the shift.
