Charlyn Claveria RN is a Registered Nurse who works at Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center in Kettering, Ohio. Following is the nomination story by Charlyn’s co-worker:
“Staff was working with a violent patient when Charlyn stepped in to help. In a calm, caring, understanding way, Charlyn listened and talked with the patient and in a little while the patient became calm and was smiling. Charlyn treats the families and her co-workers in the same caring way and always with a smile. We always know we are going to have a pleasant night when Charlyn is working!”
