Cindy has gone above and beyond to support her nurses and unit during COVID-19. She has been working day and night to get protocols in place and the proper PPE for our nurses. She was open to feedback and made changes accordingly. She came in early when nightshift needed her and help out wherever she was needed. Not one nurse ever felt unsafe or uneducated about the entire process because she made sure we had what we needed! I was always able to reach her by phone or text even in the middle of the night. She is truly a rockstar and I cannot imagine our unit without her.
She has developed so many ideas and protocols not only to give our patients the best care possible but to help our nurses as well. If there is ever a question we know where to look for the answers or how to get ahold of her. She has made sure our patients get 5-star care and we have the resources we need to do so.
Cindy is an amazing nurse. She is very detail-oriented and delivers 5-star care to her patients! Not to mention her charting is perfection.
She is always willing to teach and educate her staff on changes and protocols. She is available 24/7 to us. If I have a question in the middle of the night or a weekend she will always get back to me before shift change.
During COVID in the ICU, I had to admit 2 additional rule out patients in the middle of the night while still caring for 2 others. I had to train 5 additional nurses to care for those patients and make sure we had all PPE needed. I had to text her at 0200 because I needed help and had questions. She immediately answered and came up to the unit and jumped right in. She is INVALUABLE to the ICU. I would probably have cried by the end of the shift had she not been there for us. She is amazing!!! She truly goes above and beyond for our unit. I am forever grateful to her!
