I was a homeless patient with a severe crushing wound to my left hand. I met this nurse on my 3rd day here. I am 53 and don't have the best eyesight, I asked another nurse if he could find used eyeglasses and he said he could not, I asked Larry and he left and came back about 10 minutes later with a pair of his old glasses from his locker and he insisted I take them. I would not be able to write this thank you note without these glasses.
The next day I was in a lot of pain and I received a phone call from some hospital in Seattle that was telling me about some IV therapy for me. I knew nothing about what they were talking about as the doctors very rarely came in to see me. He took the time to call my doctors and have them explain things. Without him going to bat for me, things would not have gone as well. I could tell you many other things about my care. He goes well above what is expected and his kindness to his patients is excellent. Someone like him makes a bad time in your life so much better. Thank you!
