I came to the OB department when in labor with my twin girls. I got in right before shift change and at that time Theresa came on for day shift. She showed extreme care and compassion. She helped me to feel at ease when going in for my C-section (my first surgery) and stayed with me the remainder of the day. Later that night after her shift, one of my twins went into code blue. She offered to stay the night to be with her due to being short staffed. She was then my nurse for the remainder of my stay. She always showed care and compassion above and beyond what was necessary. She helped me a lot with becoming comfortable with learning to breast feed. She showed such enthusiasm when the girls learned how to breast feed. She also made my guests feel very comfortable as well. She always remembered all their names and got them anything they could want as well as me. She showed extreme love and compassion to my girls, it made me feel at great ease to leave them with her. I simply cannot say enough great things about Theresa; it is wonderful when you get a nurse that truly loves her job. Theresa is truly the type of nurse that any patient would love to have.
