Jackie truly is passionate and loves what she does. Jackie continually demonstrates this passion as she interacts with her patients and their families. Jackie sees hope in all of her patients and truly cares about each one of them. One example is how she acts as a patient advocate for the patient at their physician’s offices. When the physician’s office says that they will see her patients’ in 3 to 4 weeks, Jackie will personally call the physician’s office herself and speak with the physician. Jackie will explain the situation to the physician and most of the time the patient is seen right away, or within a week. She will also go above and beyond her call of duty to call each patient after they have been discharged and will make sure that her patients are following their discharge plan.

Jackie’s warm and genuine personality easily persuades her patients to see the importance of following recommendations for an independent and fulfilling lifestyle when living with cardiac disease. She consistently helps patient’s to achieve “Health for Life,” the mission of her healthcare organization.
