There are many examples of how wonderful Margaret Phelps is. Recently, I walked into a room after hearing a patient screaming out with anxiety. This patient had been having these crying outbursts for days and Benadryl was the reliable source of calming him.
Not for Margaret; I walk in and see her sitting on the bed with the patient with two arms wrapped around him, rocking him, his head is burrowed into her and he's calming down. The whole time she is closely whispering in his ear, rocking him, calming him, telling him, "It's going to be alright," "You're doing fine," and, "You can do this." This is not an uncommon theme for Margaret and I had the pleasure to witness first-hand.
