Basel, my nurse in DOU, has been kind, caring, prompt, and efficient. I know he will respond promptly when I need him because he has demonstrated that to me time and time again during my hospital stay. Basel demonstrated over and above care toward me when I needed it the most, the evening when the mass in my lung was discovered. Basel spoke with me about the new findings. He was comforting and reassuring in a way that gave me peace and made me feel secure and cared for. In a difficult and scary time, Basel was the instrument of comfort that I needed. I am so grateful that he went above and beyond the normal range of caring to reach out to me and touch my heart in a meaningful way when he reassured me that I was in God's hands. Basel has made a difference in my life and for that, I am truly grateful.
