Crystal's sweet voice has become a familiar sound to staff and patients on the night shift in the ICU. Crystal came to EMCM roughly two years ago, and in her time here has grown as a critical care nurse. She has worked hard to develop her clinical bedside skills and truly has a gift for showing real compassion to our patients. Crystal is known for taking the time to develop a rapport with her patients and their families. She takes the time to listen to their concerns and has a knack for delivering reassurance during the stressful time of illness. She is a team player who is always going the extra mile to help coworkers who are having a busy shift or when a patient needs emergent attention. She is also working to strengthen her skills as a team leader as she orients to the role of Charge Nurse. It is a pleasure to work with Crystal, and I hope we can continue to encourage her to grow as a critical care nurse.
