During my stay at SPUH I was cared for by Josette. She is an amazing woman and nurse. No one likes to be admitted to the hospital, but this outstanding woman made a very difficult trying time for both myself and my family so much easier and my stay to be very comfortable. Josette was caring and understanding to not only the needs of the patient but of my wife and family also. We were all so full of questions and frustration, she helped reassure us that we were in the best care possible and stood by us every step of the way. As soon as results were in for the multitude of tests that I needed to have done, she made sure there was someone there to explain them to us and in a manner that we understood. She had that sixth sense and knew when we didn't understand something or were unaccepting of an answer we may have received. She made sure everything was clear and understandable and that all of our questions were answered.
Josette has such a phenomenal personality. She was sensitive to my needs and extremely patient and understanding, and at the same time kept me smiling and on my toes. Josette is exactly what the doctor ordered when you have to be in a place where you really do not want to be.
Josette is a step above all the rest and an absolute asset to your hospital. The next time I need to visit Saint Peter's Hospital, I can only hope that I have her as my nurse again.
