Patti is a very special person and nurse. She always goes out of her way to help patients and coworkers. She has kept me calm and relaxed when I was extremely nervous as a first-time cancer patient. Even as busy as she is, she will make a point of asking how I feel and explain things to me, no matter how many times I ask. Even if she is not asked, she will come and help others. She is a kind soul with a huge heart. I can feel she truly cares about her patients and that is important to us sitting in that chemo chair. She has many jobs at the cancer center, but when she is talking to me, I know and feel that I am most important, and she is truly listening to me. She makes each patient feel special.
