Sharon has been a dedicated RN to our organization for many years, 40+ years. She has been through many changes within the organization. She has had to step up during leadership changes to ensure the flow of the department ran smoothly. She demonstrates exceptional skill daily and truly cares about the well-being of each patient. She won't take "good enough" as an answer and she advocates for her patients. She had a patient with stroke-like symptoms and made sure he got to the hospital safely.
*****
Over the years Sharon has built a special relationship with her patients. The patients look forward to seeing her when getting their INR checked. On the days that Sharon is off it takes a little while to convince them that it's ok to use other RN's instructions for Coumadin dosing. They often ask "does Sharon agree with this, is Sharon ok with this?" She also set up an INR reminder list and calls the patients to remind them to have their labs checked. As my preceptor, she was very kind and patient with me as I transitioned from the inpatient to the outpatient setting.
*****
Sharon is such a team player. Sharon is caring and compassionate with patients and she is always willing to help everyone in the clinic.
*****
Sharon has been more than eager to help when needed with patient care when the office is short staffed. She is "a voice for the Medical Assistants when needed" and is a reliable source of information. I truly appreciate her and all she has done for us at the clinic.
*****
Sharon is ALWAYS willing to go above and behind and helps everyone when needed. Patients and employees love her and will always be the best RN Beaumont could have at their location.
*****
Sharon always follows through, always taking and handling patient calls that are tasked or sent to her. She is VERY knowledgeable and always has the right answers.
*****
There was a patient in our waiting room that collapsed, Sharon directed the staff and served as a team leader how to best care for the patient. She kept the patient calm and comfortable and ensured the patient's safety while waiting for EMT help. Sharon demonstrates exceptional skill every day however it was much more apparent during this crisis situation. She is respected and loved by our patients, our staff, and their families.
