Last week Suzy demonstrated exceptional care in the face of adversity and disrespect. She cares for a severely confused and belligerent, at times, patient. Always maintaining a kind and gentle demeanor. The patient would get upset often and Suzy would calm the patient kindly. She even came in extra to sit and keep this extraordinarily busy and angry patient safe. After this patient left, without complaint she went and sat 1:1 with another patient who was confused and inappropriate at times. She did this without complaint she cared thoughtfully for these patients as she does for all other patients. They felt that Suzy found the follow-up answers for them and helped with the plan to go home/get additional care. She treats not only the patients but the families with extraordinary care.
