Andrea is such a wonderful, compassionate, and intelligent nurse. She took exceptional care of my grandmother before surgery and even came to check on her afterward. She carefully explained everything and answered all of my grandmother's questions. She was excellent with pre and post op education. It is easy to see that she has a great passion for teaching and helping others to learn. She recognized the importance of treating both the patient and family. She made sure everyone understood what was going on and was comfortable. She even overheard my grandfather say he was freezing since he is from Florida and had the thoughtfulness and compassion to bring both of my grandparents heated blankets. She showed over and over again that she truly has a patient's best interest at heart. A simple smile, great attitude, passion for teaching, healing others, and heated blankets showed how great of a nurse she is. Andrea does so much more than expected and it is much appreciated!
