Shae is one of those nurses that has decided to share her gift with us. Shae is the real definition of Nursing. She is one of those superhumans with superpowers that go above and beyond her duties as a nurse to meet the patient's needs. Not long after Shae started we had a family come in after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. There were young children involved in the accident, we had to call family from out of town to come get the children. When they arrived at the ED they had no car seats for these children. Without hesitation, Shae took her own child's car seat out of her car and purchased another one for them to have. She went beyond her skills as a nurse, reaching into her heart to help others in need.
Just last week she left work after her 1p-1a shift and bought dinner for a patient's wife who would not leave her husband's side. On multiple occasions, she has donated to other people in need. We are blessed to have her here with us, a SUPER nurse with superpowers, always thinking of others.
