Tan's performance is truly outstanding. In every small detail of his job, you can see real professionalism. He forgets nothing. I witnessed him explaining something to other nurses and was wondering how he can remember all the ins and outs of his trade. He took his time to explain to me each and every procedure making me comfortable and sure about positive outcome. His job is not just a way to make money for him. You can feel that he loves and is proud of his job. I came to your hospital at the worst time of my life, depressed and sick. Thanks to your wonderful people and Tan personally I will move on with my life and be happy again. Tan is an extraordinary nurse and personal. He deserves the highest possible award!

He has gone above the call of duty. I'm not strong enough to write all my reasons. Mentally and physically he has encouraged me that I can and will be able to achieve improvement. Writing from my bed doesn't allow me to go on. He has offered kindness above all!! Other nurses have been very caring and also stand out. Tan is one in a million and an example for the best nursing can offer. Thank you.

My nurses, especially Tan (there are more, but my memory isn't great first thing in the morning), all my care partners I can't remember names - really did care about me. I never felt alone or ignored, and I just felt so much love from them. Wonderful people! As more names come to mind I'll add them. I need to repeat that Tan has treated me so extremely well. I'll never forget his extreme kindness. Also, every social worker treated me like I was one of their own family. That is so rare. Thank you to all room servers, very sweet! Phone staff for room service: always so helpful!

I would like to nominate Tan. He is an amazing person and nurse. In the last two days, I have seen a man that does his job to the fullest or best way that can be done. He is a kind man that goes that extra mile to explain your medicines and make sure that you are comfortable at all times. This man has a heart of gold. I have seen him go to lunch and bring a patient next to me back a pair of reading glasses that he purchased for him so he may be able to read his literature. Not only did he go out of his way during lunch time to buy them for this gentleman, but he also brought him some snacks. I don't think he realized that he not only made that man's day but also mine. It showed me that he does his job not only to the fullest but does it from the bottom of his heart. If there were only more nurses like Tan this world would experience the nursing profession done to perfection. I was honored to meet Tan.
