Ruth was the absolute best possible person we've had care by since my father's spinal cord injury. His progress with her encouragement was the best it has been since the trauma. She is excellent at taking charge and setting goals, that is just what he needed. She told my dad that on Thursdays he would be in a wheelchair and going outside for fresh air. I was hopeful but not sure if it would be possible since he was paralyzed from the neck down. Not only did we go outside with him, he asked to also go to the cafeteria. We shared a grilled cheese and he was so happy to have a bit of normal back. I will be forever grateful for Ruth and her love and genuine care for my father. She is a diamond and a true DAISY Nurse.
