Caryn Palmer is an excellent, caring nurse. Recently watching her care for a special needs patient has touched my heart. This patient has presented a challenge for each nurse who has cared for her. Caryn has developed a close connection with her and has been able to develop an insight into her needs. Caryn's gentle way brings smiles to those who watch her care for the patient. When this young woman is alert, Caryn finds ways to engage with her like blowing bubbles while the patient's eyes light up. She even tries to reach out and remind us all that there is a loving young woman inside of that challenging patient. With Caryn at her side, her patients have been more at ease during this difficult hospital stay.
