Our father came to the ED last month. The first person who met us was Jody. She helped us get Dad out of the car and into the ED. Jody recognized immediately that Dad was much sicker than any of us realized. Jody made our parents feel as if we were the only people in the department at that time. She took her time in providing care and explaining each test and procedure to Dad. Jody added the best possible blend of caring, compassion, and humor to make Dad's Emergency Department experience the best that it could have been.
