I was having a hard time and experiencing a great deal of pain and discomfort at the incision site and lacked the motivation to do anything. I was angry, depressed, sad and in a lot of pain; snd in comes Brye. I am in my bed crying and explaining to him how sad and how much pain I was experiencing. He talked to me with such a calm and soothing tone of voice but most importantly, he was empathetic and cared. He helped me calm down, helped me make a plan/goals to get out of bed and motivate me to have a positive day. He is such a blessing. I ended up getting out of bed with crutches and walked out into the hallway with a pain level of 4/10.
