The patient was very enthusiastic in her praise for Marta. Marta comes to work every day with a smile and an outlook that whatever comes through our door in PAT she can and will handle. When drawing blood samples from her patient, Marta was recognized by her patient as having a "sure hand and a soft touch". This patient stated she has had many blood samples drawn but never in her 80 plus years has it been as gentle. When listening to Marta interact with her patients you will hear the compassion and empathy with each word she speaks. Marta is a "go to" for her coworkers. Her nurse knowledge is exemplary.
