My husband was admitted with GI bleeding. Kristy took over the next morning. After a very long, very anxious night, she was our rock in the morning. He was still getting frequent blood draws, fluids, and very little rest. Kristy was very proactive in getting the gastroenterologist consulted, hospitalists informed and keeping us informed as his condition stabilized. We were so happy to have avoided further intervention, and so happy to have had her with us that day. She was also wonderful to me, as the family member, giving warm blankets, water, and always being so patient with my frequent requests and questions.
