Steven embodies everything a nurse is supposed to be. He is compassionate and listens to what you have to say. While he was taking care of me, I told him I was in nursing school, so he gave me good advice about many things related to school. Steven remembered the little things, even in the chaos of the ER. He offered me warm blankets, explained everything and even offered my parents something to drink. I know he did not do this because he had time, rather he did it because he truly cares. On the night Steven took care of me, he was busy with several phone calls and people asking for his help. But despite all of that, I felt like I was Steven's only patient. He stayed on top of my labs, vitals and pain level and told me exactly when he would be back to check on me. Steven is without a doubt the best nurse I have ever had.
