Our mom came from the ER to 4N. Melissa was extremely attentive to her needs which gave us a chance to "breathe".
When Mom was waiting for a procedure all day, she hadn't eaten or had any liquid. With the cafeteria closing at 6:30 pm and the procedure scheduled for 7:30 pm, Melissa worked with the cafeteria to order food and hold it, requiring her to heat it up for Mom when she was able to eat. She went above and beyond!
Mostly we appreciate Melissa's kindness. She saw Mom as more than a patient, and that spoke volumes to all of us. Melissa's attention to detail, quick responses to the button, and prompt response to any family concern makes her outstanding. Thank you so much, Melissa. Keep doing what you do!
